Testing a Nest - a Spring Pop-up at Livery Studios

For the spring months we’ve nested at Livery Studios in central Leamington Spa - home to Rickett Architects and their gallery space. With a street-facing window and room to share ideas in progress, the studio allows us to open our process outwards: a glimpse of our materials library, evolving project palettes and small happenings. The Gothic Revival - The Restoration of Great Hampton Street Works 

The transformation of Great Hampton Street Works is finally complete. This former Victorian button factory in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter has been lovingly restored and now host to 29 unique loft apartments. It’s been incredible to see the building’s industrial character come back to life, from the brickwork and arches to the hand-painted details.

The Paper Yard - Folding History into Interiors

We’ve been appointed by Hatchbury to design the interior fit-out of the Paper Yard, a new 77-apartment scheme in Birmingham’s historic Gun Quarter. The layered past of this corner of the city has shaped our approach to the design, guiding the materials, atmosphere and architectural language of the interiors.
